Our friend, Bob, has a great gift for getting free stuff.  Here we are at the Isotopes game, compliments of Bob.  It rained heavily and Manny Ramirez was supposed to play but he didn't because of the conditions.  We had a great time despite the rain because we appreciated how much worse if could have been if we did have the kids with us!

A very Elmo birthday!

Emily had a fun backyard BBQ for her 2nd birthday.  I love how she's holding the Elmo pinata's hand like she's trying to reassure him that everything will be ok.  It was a pull string pinata so at least she didn't have to see him being smacked to smithereens.  Mom made an Elmo birthday cake and Emily got an Elmo pinata and 4 Elmo presents and some very cute clothes.  Berna made her a thoughtful CD full of Elmo songs too.
